WASHINGTON STATE CONSTITUTION
On November 11, 1889 President Benjamin Harrison approved the Constitution and issued a proclamation declaring Washington a state. U.S. Secretary of State, James Blaine, sent a telegram to Miles Moore, the last territorial governor of Washington stating: "The President signed the proclamation declaring Washington to be a state in the Union at 5:00 and twenty-seven minutes this afternoon. The "ADD AN AGENDA ITEM" MUST be submitted to your district leader if you have an item you would like to address at the monthly SCRCC board meeting. Remember your district leaders are your representatives. COMMITTEE CHAIRS may submit directly to the chair. If you would like, you can cc the chair (chair@gcrpcc.com). Items should be attempted to be submitted 1 week before the 1st Tuesday of each month.
